ChildAid works with GOAL in Nairobi

ChildAid have undertaken to co-fund Goal's Childrens Rescue Centre in Nairobi. The centre rescues children that are being abused, removes them from source of the abuse, gives them medical and or physcological support and places them back into secure family enviornments.

Since its foundation, Childaid has worked closley with those helping the poorest of the poor and those children most vulnerable. It was during a visit to some of the other Chilaid sponsored projects that Childaid volunteers were first introduced to the centre.

In thanking Childaid for their committment to the Rescue Centre, GOAL CEO John O'Shea said that he was delighted that this support was coming from people that had seen at first hand the abuse and condictions some of these children had to endure.

Childaid also donated a vehicle to the rescue centre which is used to bring children out of the slums and up country to secure family environments.
